I bought this van and after driving it 60 miles, black smoke started coming from under the hood and the van died. It now will not start and is parked at a off ramp on a freeway. Where can I start.
Your best friends are always a cell phone and an AAA membership. Have it TOWED to the closest good independent garage to do an assessment of what’s wrong. A road side service station can’t do that.
If this smoke was generateed by an electrical short circuit the Safari may be over.
