I have 200,000 miles on my '87 VW weekender pop-top. Other than oil changes and two sets of plugs and points, and Oxegen sensors, there has been no engine work needed or done. The compression is good, gas mileage 17-18 highway. Is tgere any ‘preventative’ engine work I should be doing?
You got to 31 years and 200,000 miles. Keep doing whatever you’ve been doing, it must be correct!
