I have a 3/4 ton Chevy PU with a 454 and I can not figure out why after I replaced the temperature sending unit the temperature gauge still pegs out all the way to the right even though it is not hot.
Did you replace the “Temp SENSOR” that’s for the Engine controls ?
Or the “Temp SENDER” That’s for the gauge ?
Your truck should have both, auto parts stores often give you the “Sensor” when you want the “Sender”
