How do u remove the steering shaft from the steering box?
I don’t know off-hand… is it just a slip-collar type of design? If so, remove the bolt from the collar and probably douse it with penetrating fluid (PB Blaster?) and beat it with a BFH (big freaking hammer). If it doesn’t have a slip collar, I don’t know.

If it has a pinch bolt, remove the bolt, and tap a large screwdriver into the split line to spread the joint. Then, push up on the joint to remove it from the shaft.
