@Thefixofthings–The 1963 Comet offered two 6 cylinder engines and a V-8 engine. Your 6 cylinder could either be a 144 cubic inch 6 or a 170 cubic inch 6. I don’t know if the same carburetor was used on both engines, so you might want to check on this. In any event, the carburetor is a 1 barrel and I think has a hand choke. If this is the case, the carburetor shouldn’t be too difficult to rebuild.
The carb shown on rockauto had an auto choke. Who knows if it’s correct. It has the 144.
