i have a 02 trailblazer ltz the 1-2 servo i think the outer cap is rusted in i have the ring clip out and the cover cap will not spin or go in and out so what will happen if i start my car and put it in gear to blow the old 1-2 servo out of the trans will it do anything to the trans itself?
The factory manual states this tool must be used to remove the servo cover.
It also states that the servo cover can get hung up on the servo cover O-ring. If this occurs, cut and remove the servo cover O-ring.
The trans case is aluminum. No rust to speak of. Surprising how o-ring will get pinched and hang up the cap.
