Where might I find the “shift lock override button” on a Camry?
This was mentioned on a recent Car Talk radio show but I can find
no reference to it in the owners manual or any repair manual.
This may come in handy if any one of the two relays or the computer
module fail and disallow putting the car into gear!

In the Owner’s Handbook, in the index, look under Automatic Transmission. An inch forward of the P (for Park), beside the shift lever, is a little plastic cover. Use a screwdriver, or a nail file, to remove the little plastic cover. Push down on the exposed button, while pulling back on the shift lever.
