04 Nissan Quest Temp gauge not working

I have an 04 Nissan Quest and the engine temp display on the dash completely stopped working. It’s electronic and the display is showing the gauge but no temperature, as though the engine temp were constantly 0. The van doesn’t seem to be driving any (much?) worse than its normal horribleness. Now that I’m inclined to fix it where should I start? Coolant temp sensor? Cabin display fuses? What’s most likely to cause this?
