1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee - BCM issue?

My guess is there is a bad connection to power somewhere. Possibly the ignition switch or in the main power distribution panel under the hood. I suggest you purchase a factory service manual to help you find the trouble. When the trouble happens again check to see what systems aren’t working and check the manual to see what electrical areas are common to those things having trouble. Then check where power is getting to and isn’t using a test light probe or meter. The investment in a good manual will be well worth the cost. You already spent a lot of money on a needless part. These kind of troubles are usually due to simple connection problems and a lot of times the most expensive parts are blamed for the trouble.
