Instrument Panel Lights

What could cause my Instrument lights to stay on for a while as well as my gauges to malfunction when the temperature is cool.? It just started doing this.

Start looking for a bad ground in the area behind the instruments and you will probably find the culprit.

When you say 'instrument lights', do you mean the warning lights, or the nighttime illumination of your speedometer, etc?

Good point Oblivion. If you are talking about the warning lights in the dash rather than the dash illumination lights then I suspect you are going to need to replace the alternator.
