Will 2003 Subaru Forester need a second new gasket?

I fixed/replaced the valve cover leaks/gasgets at approx. 80000 miles. Since this car is known for this do you think it will need to be done again because of the design of the engine?

This car is known for leaking head gaskets, most owners would be happy to only have to replace valve cover gaskets.

You need to clarify whether or not you’re talking about valve cover or head gaskets. The first is not a problem.T The second has been a bit of an issue.

Whether or not any head gasket (assuming the second…) will last depends upon who does the job and how well they do it. Done properly and with no overheating they should last the life of the car.
