Why does the Prius make so many people angry?

I am used to seeing the Prius with the expected “Obama 2012” sticker but I saw a good one the other day. It was a Prius with the Gadsden Flag “Don’t Tread On Me” sticker on every window and body panel and plenty of pro-gun stickers to go along with them. I wish I had my camera that day but I didn’t. I am sure that Prius would fit it just fine hauling guns to the range.

Shouldn’t there be a “Coexist” sticker somewhere on that Prius also?
The Priuses here in Austin, TX all seem to have them, however, they seem to be refreshingly free of that stick family decal that all the crossover SUV’s seem to have.

Here in the western suburbs of Austin, the smug capital of Texas, there is frequently a blanket of fog in the low valleys, or so I thought, I realize now it’s actually smug. I blame all the bicyclists who clog RM620 by Lake Travis, wearing their bicycle shorts and jerseys with fake sponsorship logos all over them, proudly saving the planet by riding those $5000 bicycles to no place in particular and then putting them back on the roof racks of their Subarus.

My favorite decal is the one with a couple holding hands, no kids, and bags of $$.

Slowpoke Prius driver drives like me. Except that I drive thExpedition in the far right lane out of everyone’s way - until coming to a red signal. Then I signal and move to the next lane left to leave the right lane open for Righturns On Red.
If a single lane, I drive at or 5 to 9 mph above the speed limit so that I am not unfairly holding others up.

Yes. But they see das blinkin' lights in their rearview mirrors well before I catch up to them. And I slow so no one is scared. (Christmyth Eve I hardly blared the siren. Twas mostly a silent night.)
