Whooshing sound in 2011 Chevrolet Impala

Starting at 40+ mph, a loud whooshing sound begins and sometimes it’s so loud that I can’t hear the radio.
I have put the car into neutral during this to see if it’s the revving engine and the “whooshing” doesn’t change at all. The faster I go, the louder the sound. It seems to be more prevalent when i’m driving upwind. This doesn’t happen everyday, but enough to be bothersome. Of course, when I bring it to the shop, it isn’t so loud. Any ideas?

Have the rear tires been on this car since new? If Yes, change the rear tires. See if the whoosh goes away.
