What's with fraudulent quickie lube places?

A “Bangor” isn’t a sausage.

I thought the sausage was the “banger” myself…

Yep…http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/banger

Would link sausages be gang bangers?

Seriously, we’re getting off subject here. I have to agree that quickie lube places should be avoided because they try to push as much volume through as possible (increasing the chance for error), they try to oversell often unnecessary services, and much of the help in the pits is often minimally trained. They turn tons of drain plugs, but I’d wager tha of you asked 1000 of them to define 100 ft pounds (or pound feet, whatever you prefer) of torque, I’d bet not more than 10 of them could, and if you asked them the difference between 20W oil and 20W-30, you’d get all sorts of strange answers.

Oh, and we’ve had the “4-banger” debate before. Everyplace I’ve ever been in this country it’s meant a four cylinder. I personally like the English term “four pot engine”. It’s hard to misinterpret that one.
