I just had the water pump replaced on my 97 GMC by the GMC dealer - the pump was $235 with lifetime warranty - I looked online and genuine GMC parts priced it at about the same - my question is NAPA and Autozone have water pumps for less than $100 - is there that big a difference in the GM one and theirs ?
