What deos it meen when the dash board pressents anaudible warning accompanied wit the message ‘engine workshop’, there was also an orange coil light lit but have now all disapeared. Cheers.

Your first step should be to consult your Owner’s Manual, which is sure to have an explanation. Have you read the relevant section of the manual?

Here is a thread that may help. This seems to be related to the brake lights / switch. It could also mean that your glow plugs are on the way out.

In any case, you should get the ECU scanned to see what exactly it is complaining about - as the engine workshop seems to be like check engine for diesels.
