This Ford dealer has sold 17 Focus radiator supports over the past twelve months. People tend to do these things. Sometimes it even needs a fan assembly, a/c condenser, and radiator. But… NO BLOWN ENGINES.
She should never have blown ONE engine…but TWO ? ! ?

She hit something a foot tall? In a parking lot? A concrete barrier perhaps?
Sorry, this one is clearly driver error. Most vehicles have no where near a foot of clearance, typically about 6 inches +/-.
Jack probably meant that fluids leaked and steam issued forth, but since he apparently isn’t coming back we’ll never know.
Anyway, most vehicles have some protection from this kind of damage, I have to agree that it is a design flaw if hitting a parking space bumper is causing the damage. But then again, I doubt we will ever know if this is what his wife was experiencing.
