Your above statement is “true”, but it all depends on the definition of “long enough”.
Between Toyota’s maintenance schedule indicating 5K/6months is sufficient, and the fact that millions of Toyota vehicles that followed that schedule were fine, you should be OK.
If you’re worried, you could send your oil out for an analysis.
