The late 1950s Elorado Brougham had a magazine rack in the rear seat area. I suppose you could get anything you wanted in it since it was a hand assembled car.
The 2006 Uplander that I bought as a program vehicle in 2006 has a DVD player with a remote for the back seat. I had never used it and didn’t even know how it worked. However, my then 5 year old granddaughter figueed it out right away. Two years later when we would, go places, she would sit in the very back seat and read. At night, she would turn on the lamp back there and keep reading. My son now owns the Uplander and the,DVD player is never used. However, a built in bookcase for my now,13 year old granddaughter would be handy.
