You are correct, I do have one of these. My problem is that there’s only one attachment point for it in the front and one in the back and they’re off centered.

Someone suggested talking to the body shop, probably a sound advice that I’ll follow.

There may some places under the car where you can hook some S-hooks or tie the rope, or even drill and mount some sturdy loops. On my Honda, where the aft rope has to pass over a bumper cover on its route from the canoe to the attachment point, I use a sponge to protect the paint.
