The sad part is, Tesla tries to basically make your phone the key to your car so it knows when to start, shut off and open the doors. You get a couple ‘credit’ cards that is set to the vehicle but you can also purchase a separate FOB or just use the Tesla app on your phone so the car will be able to activate.
My Bolt has no CD player. My old CX-7 had a 6 disc player. Lot changed in 10 years.
Over and over on this forum, people give the recommendation to go to an independent repairer. It sounds like the doors are not the only trap Tesla has set. Just build a car so complex that only the dealer can handle it. It will be interesting to learn the 10-year cost of ownership.
Windshields are usually laminated glass, not the tempered glass of rear and side windows. Tempered glass crumbles into tiny pieces with so much as a scratch. Laminated glass doesn’t.
Welcome back. My Acura windshield is also evidently the sound deadening variety with a special layer of something in it.
Mp3 has done to CD what CD did to vinyl LP and cassette tape. I heard that vinyl actually outsold CDs last year.
