Transmission fluid requirements

what type of transmission fluid is best for 2004 camry 4 cylinder with a 90,000 miles

What type of fluid is listed in your Owner’s Manual?

Go to your dealer and get what they recommend. It doesn’t cost much more than cheap ATF and you don’t need that much. Its is best to spend maybe a $1.50/qt more at a dealer for the 4 qts needed for a drain and refill.

@barnes47421, automatic or manual transmission?

auto trans: Toyota Genuine ATF Type T−IV

manual trans: Gear oil API GL−4 or GL−5, SAE 75W−90
