If the transaxle sensor is bad, will it show up on the dashboard like the ABS light does?
Some will cause your check engine light to come on if the computer picks up a problem… Can you be more specific??? Is there something going on with your trans??

When I start going up a steep hill, the car will only go 35 mph, but the rpm gauge will be over 2000. It also does not want to shift out of first even on a flat road, but the rpm gauge will be at 2000 or slightly above.
