My headlights and dash illumination lights will intermittently flicker when I use the turn indicator to signal a right hand turn. Is it possible that there is a short in the turn indicator/high-low beam headlight control switch that is causing this?

I wonder if there might be a bad chassis ground on the right side of the car at one of the sockets?
I think you are most likely correct about the trouble being within the switch itself but it isn’t a short that is causing the trouble, it is due to an interruption of power to the lights.
Thanks for the replies. If there were a bad chassis ground would it be logical to think the flicker should happen even without me using the turn indicator switch?
Correct. If it’s only with the turn signal, it’s the switch itself.
