If AT&T, Tesla, Sun, etc. do what was mentioned, it’s good business practice
But if I do it, I’m just talking smack and wasting everybody’s time . . . because I don’t have the means to do any of that stuff I was mentioning, in the first place
It’s all relative . . . it’s okay or not, depending on who’s talking, correct . . . ?!
If AT&T, Tesla, Sun, etc. do what was mentioned, it’s good business practice
Never said it was a GOOD business practice. Just pointed out it’s done all the time and you just shouldn’t single out Tesla for doing it.
There’s a term used for Microsoft called Vaperware. Microsoft has been know to introduce a product to get interest…and the never ever producing it. Sometimes the interest was intense and websites were built for interest to the new product which never appeared.
He's entertaining . . . that's what I would call Donald Trump
Agreed. I really never understood the interest in the man. He’s not what I call a good business man (bankrupt at least 3 times)…and surely NOT a leader.
I’ve got serious reservations about the man, and I’m criticizing him. What I see about his personality might be okay, I suppose
I’ve got friends that do things I seriously disagree with, and I criticize them. And vice versa
I do acknowledge that he creates innovative products and services
But I like him a lot more than Bob Lutz, anyways
Maybe I’m seeing something that isn’t there, but based on what Bob Lutz has said and done, I’d say he might just have utter contempt for “the common man.” Perhaps other high-powered folks also feel that way, but with Bob Lutz, he seems to show it.
It’s a rare entrepreneur at can run a professionally managed company. That’s a big transition from the one that controls everything to a strategic manager that pays others to manage the day to day activities of the company. It has to be very difficult to get out of the day to day forest of activities and look ahead to where the company will be Ina few years.
Please will the spell check people, take a deep breathe,I could never do good on Jeopardy because I would never be able to pronounce words to suit Alex(dont you like the way He plays favorites sometimes?)
I just thought it would be reasonable to have the main subject of a comment spelled correctly, so that a casual reader would get accurate information. But that’s just me.
Tsk,tsk,we know, but we are all friends, whats a vowel out of place or dangling participle, among friends? Reminds of the movie “a series of unfortunate incidents"the nice lady couldnt help but to correct Count Olaf any way,the car companies themselves will probaly come under closer scrutiny, from here on out,the things are getting so good, its upping the ante,no one can afford to have a quality problem now.
Which brings up an interesting problem, the autos and auto repair market used to be so profitable, what will fill the void? Will excellence create a economic crisis?Maybe we will have to step up our exports,Yesterday I watched a very interesting documentary"Pandoras Promise”(even better then Dr.Strangelove ) Big oil sure isnt looking out for us,the big problem I see with electric cars and light trucks is the reliability issue,we simply wont be selling much service or spare parts for these things,I fear the median will get lower. Can We go back to a fifties lifestyle? Our lives and livelyhood are so intertwined with Cars,I hope We take baby steps, maybe we do need a new frontier.
My wife was an English teacher so often she will still circle the errors in the local paper just for the fun of it. I tend to point them out too, but alas, a lot of the national articles are written by robots now and not people, so not sure who to blame. I usually don’t say anything but when a repair shop had a back to school special for “break” work, I just couldn’t help it and emailed the editor. She corrected the ad pronto lest we further lead our young people astray.
Often I see the use of their, they’re, and there misused in the news. A couple months ago one of the columns in the Legion paper began with: “as I sat down to “right” this article . . .”. He coulda lost a stripe for that if he was still in the military. I don’t think we should be real pickey about it but we should try to be correct, for the future of our country.
Heard Maria Shriver say"follow sweet;"I’m pretty sure She meant follow suite.
I am of the opinion, that people, that hail from the upper crust,be of a bit higher standard.(sorry about my level of literacy)
Not sure if anyone has mentioned about the problem that Fiat/Chrysler caused by a poor design and then twiddling their thumbs about fixing the problem with the Jeep Wagoneer. The gas tanks were installed too far back and if you were rear ended you could burn alive.
