my son has a 1987 Toyota Corolla - 2 door hatchback. Manual transmission. It was running fine until a couple of days ago, when coming home from work he was not able to accelerate. He was on the freeway driving at 25MPH. He finally got off the freeway and his car was towed home. HELP!!! He noticed the clutch fluid being low so he filled it up, any other ideas?
Not enough info. Need more symptoms and information. How many miles on the car? Does it idle ok? Is it the engine or transmission thats the problem?
Is maintenance up to date: spark plugs, wires, air filter, fuel filter?
Catalytic converter could be plugged up, could be a lot of things. Give us more clues.
