Wouldn’t start. Battery ok. Tried again. Half started. Turn Key runs good. Turn off key keeps running. Take -pole off to stop.
Take to my private mechanic, finds nothing.

I’d highly suspect the key cylinder. In the steering column. The dead giveaway is that it keeps running when you turn the key to “off”.
