Anything that explodes or leaves the ground is illegahere.
But one would never know it withree-inch mortars bursting in air,ockets, cherry bombs, M-80s and Roman Candles. Many of thewer cone fountains are fantastic!

I have a motor that makes an abrupt slow down when the capacitor switch closes when it it spinning down. It must make some resonance that makes it behave like a brake. So that could be going on with your motor rather than it just being the mechanical friction from the flyweights mechanism pushing against the start circuit switch when it is turning slowly.
Can you disconnect the capacitor rather than having to cut a wire?

Suspecthathe capacitor discharges into the coil causing an electromagnetic generation and slowing. (Wouldike to hook up the oscilloscope to it.)
Surprisingly, the two wires are soldered onto the capacitor. Expected slip-on lugs.
If I cannot starthe siren using the woodowel, a simple “fix” is to install a toggle switch topen after the siren is up to speed.
