GreasyJack, my opinion differs from yours. The weight of the patch and plug is about the same as the smallest of the weights they use to balance the wheel. Maybe you don’t think it is necessary, but I do. My mechanic does a high speed balance with every tire rotation, so I expect him to do a high speed balance after they repair the tire.
Maybe you are comfortable with a larger margin of error than I am.
