My dad accidentally hit a curb the other day, and now his steering wheel is tilted to the left. However, it does not pull the car to the left or right, while he is driving the vehicle. He believes the problem is his front end alignment, but he is very unsure. Does anyone know what the problem could be, and how much it will cost to repair.
You need to bring the vehicle in so it can be inspected and determined if any of the steering/suspension components where damaged during the curb strike. Until that’s done, it’s impossible to say why the steering wheel is out of alignment and what it will cost to repair.
