I have heard that you cannot effectively operate tier 2 and tier 3 engines in third world counties with high (6,000 ppm) diesel fuels. Is this true? What will happen?
It will depend on the engine. In some it will clog up the intake/exhaust. Modern diesel engines are complex machines. They don’t do well with bunker oil. ?
