I ve seen the show, and agree that it s a cool concept. that one guy, the car “stylist” really rubbed me, and my wife, the wrong way tho. I was happy that the corvair guy got over on them a bit and got two cars done. who know s how real that was tho
A lot of that stuff is staged just to add drama to the show.
I thought it was entertaining.
Chevy also made a Corvair pickup, called the “rampside” pickup. One side of the bed dropped down to form a ramp. Jay Leno has restored one in his collection. I thought it was cool.
These shows are getting too weird. Think I could sell them on ‘Gay Car for the Straight Guy’, where I help a clueless hunk improve his love life by finding him the right car and instructing him on its use? I’d need co-hosts for customizing (the right license plate frame or vanity plate to signal who you are) , social skills (no, hon, it’s over 60, top down, but, you can keep your shirt on, just this once), cuisine (no burger wrappers on the floor, not even in the back seat, and a stainless travel mug shows class.)
