I’m having a heck of a time bleeding the brakes on a 1988 Ford Festiva. I replaced the master cylinder and bench bled it, replaced the front pads and in the rear I replaced the shoes, hardware, drums, and wheel cylinders. I pressure bled the brake system with a Motive pressure bleeder. On the test drive, it felt as if the rear brakes were not working at all. I manually bled the rears and I kept getting air out of the bleeders. No matter how much I bled the wheels, I kept getting air bubbles. It almost seemed as if both wheel cylinders were sucking air in, but not leaking fluid out. Is it possible that I have 2 defective wheel cylinders? Any idea as to what is going on here? Help!
