The Bridge to Nowhere

The roof of the Hartford Civic Center collapsed onto the seats and floor, damaging almost all of them, at about 3 am one normal snowy day in 1978. Same old story, someone cut a corner or neglected a principle of physics in the creation of the roof, and physics never forgets.
