I have a 96 cavalier, recently had the radiator flushed and filled with 50/50. no leaks, tanks full, and not running hot but temp light comes on while driving… could it be the thermostat or a hose?
Yes, it could be the thermostat. You say the temp light comes on but it’s not running hot–how do you know?
It could be a defective sensor too. It’s happened before.

Are you sure it’s the temp light and not the low coolant light?
