Hello fellow car talk members. I have a @001 Kia Sportage i think close to or just over 80k in miles. every morning when i first start the car up it knocks/taps like crazy but once it starts to warm up it runs fine. im thinking it might be the lifters or something? cloud they be loose or sticking? please help
Change your oil and be sure you use the correct weight for the temperature where you live. Also, change the filter, and buy a name brand filter, not the El Cheapo you find somewhere.
i normally get the um i think theyre called edge or something its the orange ones you get from autozone and i always have them look up the weight it needs
