My experienced w/that system, it worked great as long as the fuel was grit-free. The problem was it was very sensitive to any gunk/debris in the fuel. Where I lived in Colorado the gas stations had some bad fuel I guess, b/c when I moved to the San Jose area the fuel system problems disappeared for the most part.
