I need new rear shocks for my 2003 Yukon Denali AWD and I’ve been told they’re pricey. I bought the vehicle used and can not tell from looking at it or the paperwork I still have whether the suspension is ZW7 or Z55 and the difference may mean $100/shock. Is there any way to tell from looking at the vehicle?
Ask a dealer to look up the spec sheet using your VIN number.
Search for you RPO list,probably on glove box door see if it has these codes.
The RPO list worked! It was on the glove box door and said “Z55”, no sign of ZW7. (Though I may still call my local dealer just to verify.) Thanks all!
