Sulfur smell (rotten eggs) when spraying windshield washer

I have a 99 Mazda Protege and I recently got a full service oil change. Along with this came a refill of the washer fluid. Today, I sprayed the new washer fluid for the first time and it stunk of sulfur. Does this make any sense? I don’t smell the sulfur stench any other time besides when the washer fluid is sprayed. Any ideas?

I don’t mean to question your ability to detect
sulfur but some people smell ammonia and call it
sulfurous.

Does the garage that serviced your car use well water? They may have mixed up the washer fluid using the water in the shop. I lived in the country and we had problems with sulfer smell in the water.
