Siphon from fuel tank

Ernie Von Schledorn.

I, for one, would like to see full page advertisements fro 72 or older cars, any marque. Really like 62 or older but that would eliminate the pony cars and muscle cars.

And, just yesterday, one of my posts was “duplicated”, and appeared as 4 separate (but identical) posts. When I reloaded the page, the extra 3 posts disappeared.

Perhaps the “Community” section of this website is closing down?

All bottled water lists its source. The FDA requires it.

Where ever the water came from either whales, fish, or dinosaurs peed in it.

The water supply for my area of Central NJ is drawn from the Delaware & Raritan Canal, and the canal is fed by the mighty Delaware River, which originates in upstate NY. The water is quite pure, but–of course-- the turtles, frogs, fish, and shellfish in the water have excreted their waste into it. Luckily, the water is filtered, and it is purified with Ozone, so we don’t have to endure the Chlorine odor that many municipal supplies exude.

My observations, not scientific measurements. I snorkel at a Florida spring fed from our aquifer. Thirty years ago water from the spring was so “pure” water had little taste and did not support aquatic growth within a hundred plus feet of the spring. More nutrients are seeping into the aquifer, algae is now growing very close to the spring opening.

On my bottle it just says you can go to the website for quality information.

Well, that shows you what I know.

Apparently, it depends on what the water is called: artesian well water, mineral water, spring water, well water, purified water, etc. For example, mineral water:

  • Mineral water. This water comes from an underground source and contains at least 250 parts per million total dissolved solids. Minerals and trace elements must come from the source of the underground water. They cannot be added later.

I should have left well enough alone.

Yep, I had the fuel lines leak on my generator due to ethanol, had to get these replaced.

Used Stabil after that.
