That is a whole lot of Word Salad, but you still didn’t explain this…
4 mph over in a 65 zone is ONLY 69 mph, NOT 74 mph..
74 mph in a 65 mph zone IS 9 mph over NOT 4 as you stated…

Yes. Long distance blood platelet transports should go by air. Faster and cheaper on scheduled flights.
When weather is bad, State Patrol can transport.
But State Patrol does not want to do emergentransports - they are too busy and it ties up troopers.
Calling the non profit for which I volunteer:
Posted in General Discussion, themergencyehicle videoed by photo red light camera passing through a red traffic signal may still be viewable. (Someone said the photo red light people made it more difficult to view.)
The photo redight people have compelled me to court four times.
(Thoughthat I would pay the fine, court costs, personal service fee and victims’ assistance rather than go to court?)
They set up their equipment, presented their case, and lost everytime.
As I was exiting the courtroom and they were taking everything down, I believe the judge admonished thathey could be sued for harrassment.

In lower speedimit areas such as surface streets, 9 over is a bigger difference.
So I go 34 in 30, 39 in 35, etc.
On Interstates I often set cruise-control to 74 in 65 mph zones. 84 in 75.
I stay in the right lane and drivers pass in the left lane.
When they realize I am a nobody, they go even faster!
I would sign up.
But when I am performing a medical transport, hat could be a problem.
I would advise you to stay as far away from the Drivewise as you can or any other insurance companies driving technology… Driving over the speed limit, even if it is legal is going to be seen as a risk they may not be willing to take on… You know if you have an accident at that speed even if it is not your fault will result in a minimum of totaled vehicles, definite injuries, possible deaths for you and anyone else involved in the accident and even if you are authorized to travel at that speed, you and the insurance company will be on the hook… The accident will fall under the legal concept of cause in fact, or “but-for” causation.
The test asks: But for the defendant’s action, would the injury or harm have occurred?
If the answer is “no,” then cause in fact is established. For example, if a driver ran a red light and caused a collision, the accident would not have happened “but for” the driver’s negligent act.
And in your case: if a driver (you…) is driving at 130-MPH (70-MPH over the speed limit) and caused a collision, the accident would not have happened “but for” the driver’s negligent act.
This posting is not intended to question your driving, it is merely to point out that an accident at that speed is no “fender bender…”
Thank you.
Our insurance is fully aware.
Never drive fast around other vehicles. Also I slow to the Active School Zone speedimit - unless children are present so go even slower in case a child gets excited about das blinkin’ lights.
Must go.
So I go 34 in 30, 39 in 35,
Why?
I admit I used to do that, 10 years ago, but I changed.
On Interstates I often set cruise-control to 74 in 65 mph zones. 84 in 75.
Wasting fuel. I drive the same speed as commercial truck traffic; 72 to 75 mph. Pickup trucks and large SUVs drive 85 mph.
Some of the parcel trucks pull triple trailers on western highways, can you imagine these trucks traveling @84 mph?
never heard the za thingy before
It was referenced on King of Queens 25 years ago: Doug told Spencer that nobody uses that term anymore. Slang for the east coast hipster of the 1980’s.

Complicated anagram…
Complicated anagram…
Nothing complicated at all. Mopar and others got it right away.
It’s b e e r spelled backwards, to avoid the black boxes.
Sarcasm.
I didn’t need Google to “break the code”.
Sarcasm is lost on some of us, like moi.
When hospitals want their blood products, Stat, (sub light - no redightsiren), I push the speed limit hopefully not stopped for speeding. (Luckily never.)
So I set cruise control to not be constantly checking the speedometer for over speed.
yeah or don’t listen to music haha and I just found out it using navigation will mark it too. I’m hoping phone use doesn’t impact my driving score too much.
I don’t brake hard unless someone is riding my tail.
This sounds extremely reckless and dangerous.
If you always obey speed limits and come to a complete stop at every stop sign, this device can save you money. If you want the freedom to drive crazy when you’re running late, you should take a pass.
I have no brand loyalty or grudges against any insurance brands, but monitoring is only a benefit if you’re willing to drive like a sane person 24/7.
I briefly used one of those devices that plugs into the car when I first bought a policy with Progressive, and I found I actually dove more cautiously with it than without it, but I appreciate the freedom to step on it when I’m running late.
yeah or don’t listen to music haha
Will never happen… lol
My phone auto links to my Android Auto in my truck, so I guess Maps, text, whatever is always running (in the background) while I am driving while in my truck…
Would they rather me look at a paper map while driving, or let my map quest give me voice turn by turn and I keep my eyes on the road… Sometimes the people that think they know what is best for us are just stu.pid… lol
I don’t brake hard unless someone is riding my tail.
I know this is an old posting but @BoboTheClown brought it up again and I absolutely agree with him that this is dangerous and illegal… This is called “Brake Checking” and it is a “Misnomer” as anyone performing this maneuver is not checking their brakes…
Brake Checking is illegal in Virginia and most other jurisdictions because it is considered reckless or aggressive driving that creates a hazardous situation and is likely to lead to accidents, injuries, or fatalities. While not always a specifically named offense, brake checking is a violation of reckless driving statutes under Virginia Code § 46.2-852, which prohibits driving in a manner that endangers life, limb, or property. And this is one of the reasons I have a Dash Camera is each of my vehicles…
Yes. And if someone is riding my tail, I exact the ultimate revenge on the tailgater:
I ignore the living daylights out of them.
Period.
Whehospitals wantheir blood products, Stat, (sub light - no redightsiren), I push the speed limit hopefully not stopped for speeding.
So I set cruise control to not be constantly looking at the speedometer.
Do you still use an Expedition? What is the limiter set at? I wonder if uou could have it retuned to get more zip.
I have signed up for drive wise. It monitors via an app on your phone and I keep app running when I drive the dump truck since I drive as a professional driver at that time.
When im going to run hard or rough ride in my vehicles I will shut my phone off.
I habe also learned to be careful about throwing my phone since it has triggered an accident warning via the built in software.

That’s the reason you’re worried about throwing your phone?
