Some states have programs that allow you to anonymously report your mother so that the DMV will make her come in for a driving test. This would take the responsibility (and blame) away from you if she fails the test. If she passes the test, then it shows our cause for concern was unwarranted. Check with your local DMV to see if they have a program like this.
