I have an '02 Mitsubishi Mirage that’s just rolled over 100k miles. It’s been a great car (knock on wood).
Lately, I’ve been noticing that when I’m traveling at highway speeds (50+) and tap the brake to slow down, the car shudders.
Is this something I should worry about or is it just my car being old(er) and cranky?

You need to have your brakes checked out. You likely need new front brake rotors.
