02 Subaru Outback sport. Automatic. approx. 65k. Just had big snow/ice storm for several days. Driving for first time since, car shudders over 40 mph. Heard it could just be ice stuck somewhere. Other possibilities?
Ice and/or snow stuck to the wheels will throw them out of balance.
It’s probably ice and snow stuck inside the wheels. Take it to a car wash with a high-pressure spray wand and knock it off.
YUP…Happens all the time…In fact it happened to me today.
Better yet wait another day or so for warm weather.
