When was the last time (if ever) that the spark plugs were replaced?
Is the Check Engine Light illuminated?
Has your mechanic checked the motor mounts?

Give it new air & fuel filters while you’re at it. And I’d think about the wires too. An OEM Motorcraft set for that car is very affordable.

Put new air and fuel filters in back in July.
