2005 Buick Terraza needs $1400 sliding door repair and $2000 wheel bearing service. 70,000 miles. Otherwise good car, but the sliding door problems have driven us crazy since we drove it off the lot. We have 3 kids and cargo – can you recommend a more reliable replacement?

Even if all 4 wheel bearings are shot, $2k is pretty steep. Are these dealer prices? I would get a few second opinions and then decide. Either way, it’s going to cost less to simply keep your Buick. Did you push for a warranty repair when you first noticed the sliding door issues?
