HELP! The seat heaters on my Subaru Forest broke. Both the driver and passanger side stopped working on the same day. The light doesn’t even come on when the switch is pushed down… I live in the mountain in Colorado and it is really cold! Help
I don’t know the SUB, but it has to have a fuse or circuit breaker somewhere. I would start by checking them.
Yup, you need to check the fuse boxes (there are two of them).
The location of the boxes and a schematic of the fuses can be found in your Owner’s Manual.
Incidentally, you should also check the wiring underneath the seats for chafing of the insulation.
Fuses don’t blow out unless there is a problem with the device itself or the wiring running to the device.
