My exp w/Sears Automotive in Round Lake IL and Gurnee IL have been great. When no one else would lower my vehicle because they “couldn’t find an Eibach spring set for it”, Sears came through; found it and did expert installation. Also, great advice and service on tires. Good, quick service and they have never tried to gouge me. Once, when I got a new set of perf tires I asked for an alignment- they put in on the align rack and within 10 mins said there was no charge because the car didn’t need aligned. Saved me $100. They also let me know when tire sales for a spec brand are coming up. Been w/Sears for years and years. These guys are great. It pays to do business w/ big business.
Very happy to hear at least someone has had a good Sears Automotive experience. By the way my wife and I do shop at Sears’ other departments. Their hardware and and appliance sections are great.
