i have a 96 sl1.
it was in a head on with a tree at 40 mph,(hit dead center).
all has been fixed and it started right up. but there is a chirp from the flex-plate/transmission gasket area under the vehicle???
could this be from the sudden crash? it is definitely not from the belt area or any pulleys.
maybe the flexplate bent?? idk.
