WHERE IS THE 02 SENSOR LOCATED ON THE 1997 SATURN SL2? IF IT WERE TO GO BAD, WHAT WOULD BE THE SYMPTOMS?
Depends on which sensor. This car has two, one on the exhaust manifold to be used to manage fuel, and the other after the catalytic converter to monitor emissions. If one were bad, the ‘Check engine’ light will be on. If the first one is bad, then the car could run rough, and would probably run rich. The second sensor monitors the catalytic converter effeciency, and has no effect on how well the car runs.
